Welcome - Why Blog?

Welcome to my Blog.

I am keeping this blog for a variety of reasons, it is a good/lazy way to update everyone who asked me to keep in touch, its a place to share what I'm doing and my photos (they are not going to win any awards but they will give you an idea of what I am seeing and how I look).

It is unlikely that I will not post an updates everyday, unless I am up to something of interest. So this reading blog should be just like knowing me - random sporadic contact. I still have e-mail etc. to keep in touch directly I am just adding a blog.

I have done a few things since I decided to make this blog so there will be a little retrospective posting going on

Please feel free to add your comments, they will probably be the most interesting bits. Finally if you just hate the very idea of a blog - pretend it doesn't exist!
